Pokemon Sword and Shield

Let's play "Pokemon Sword and Shield"! This fan-made version brings the magic of the original 2019 game into the style of classic GBA games, allowing you to experience the Galar region in a new way. It combines nostalgia with exciting new gameplay, and you get to catch, train, and battle with all the Pokemon from the Sword and Shield games!

You take on the role of a Pokemon Trainer in the Galar region. Your main goal is to explore this vast world, catch wild Pokemon, battle other trainers, and ultimately face off against Leon, the Galar Champion, to become the region's new Champion! Move your character using the Arrow Keys. Interact and select moves using the Z key (Button A) and the X key (Button B).

Along the way, you'll need to battle Gym Leaders to earn badges and prove your strength, take on Team Yell, the troublesome group of villains trying to disrupt the Galar region, rescue and capture the Legendary Pokemon, Zacian and Zamazenta, and unlock their full potential.  Like all classic Pokemon games, battles are turn-based. 

You’ll need to carefully select your moves and develop strategies to outlast your opponents by reducing their Pokemon’s HP (health points) to zero before yours runs out. Use attacks that are strong against the opponent's type. Cause confusion, paralysis, or sleep to gain an upper hand in battle.

At the start of the game, you'll meet the Galar Professor, who gives you three new starter Pokemon to choose from Grookey, the Grass-type monkey Pokemon, Scorbunny, the Fire-type rabbit Pokemon, Sobble, the Water-type lizard Pokemon. While exploring Galar, you'll encounter wild Pokemon. After weakening them in battle, you can use Pokeballs to capture them and add them to your team. Stronger Pokemon might require multiple attempts to catch, so stock up on Pokeballs!
