The advantage is that you can take the tetris pieces in whatever order you want and you can fit them on the playing field wherever you want, so you don't need to put them all in the bottom of the game, you can put some pieces in the middle or in the right up corner, if you want that.
But the rest of the rules of tetris apply, for example if you manage to structure the jelly tetris pieces in a way that they form full lines, horinzontally or vertically, than that line will disappear, making new space and of course giving you points. Good luck!
